As we reach the peak of summertime, Tribe crank up the heat once more and welcome yet another new face to the stable, Doruk Ozlen with his debut release on the label.
Kaya, is Doruk’s latest project following his diverse E,P. on Seasons from a few months ago that won him many new fans with it’s diversity and certainly made our ears prick up. Kaya is a lovely rare piece of techy Middle Eastern house music, which has been working so well in Zepherin Saint’s peak time sets at Tribe, our bi-weekly party at the Dex Club in Brixton and looks set to alight many more a dancefloor across the world in the next few months. Miami based, Turkish born DJ/Producer Doruk Ozlen has recently been making a name for himself releasing a string of quality original productions and remixes on labels such as Seasons, Tribal Winds, Soulfuric to name a few and looks set to be a name to watch in the future. Techy percussive beats and tight production with an awesome build up are joined with haunting vocals and flute to create a euphoric house workout! Also featured in the package is a useful instrumental and a great stripped down dub that works very effectively in later sets. The track is already a summer favourite with the likes of Ian Friday, Timmy Regisford and Joe Claussell on the other side of the Atlantic so make sure you pick this one up before the summer is out!
